An advanced laboratory to study nuclear reactions, nuclear structure, radioactivity. Experiments may use the 300 keV particle accelerator and a neutron howitzer. Prerequisites: PHYS 246 and 345; corequisite: PHYS 430. Normally offered in the spring semester of even numbered years.
