Focuses on health promotion and the influence of diversity among persons living within the United States. This course is open to all university students with a sophomore standing or above and could be of benefit to students considering careers in theology, psychology, church work, social work, medicine, occupational or physical therapies. A service learning component is included that will provide experiences in interfaith community-based health promotion activities. This course may be used to fulfill the U.S. Diversity component of the General Education Requirements. Prerequisites for nursing students: NUR 201 and 203.
