An introductory course providing a general overview of atmospheric science with emphasis on midlatitude cyclones and anticyclones, air masses, atmospheric stability, precipitation processes and convection. May be used to partially fulfill the Natural Science component of the General Education Requirements. Prerequisite: MATH 110 or placement higher than MATH 110 on the math placement examination.
