This course is designed to provide an opportunity for prospective elementary teachers to learn mathematical concepts in an active, materials-oriented context and to acquaint them with materials appropriate for use in the elementary school. Topics correspond to those in MATH 213. Enrollment is restricted to students majoring in elementary education. Prerequisite: concurrent registration in MATH 213. S/U grade.
