(See paragraph on Placement.) A course for students with a good foundation in mathematics who are interested in mathematical models for the life, management or social sciences. Topics include limits, continuity, derivatives and their applications, integrals and their applications and selected topics in multivariate calculus. Not open to students with credit for MATH 131. May be used to fulfill the Quantitative Analysis component of the General Education Requirements. Prerequisite: MATH 114 or placement of MATH 122 or 131 on the math placement examination.
