Emphasis is placed on involvement in real-world engineering projects requiring analysis, design and investigative skills. Requires satisfactory work performance at a preselected employer and the submission of reports in a format approved by each department. This course is graded S/U only for civil and mechanical engineering majors. Prerequisite: approval of the Engineering Cooperative Education and Internships Coordinator.
