Introduces statistics and probability with an emphasis on the analysis of business and economic data. Includes descriptive statistics for univariate and bivariate data, elementary probability and sampling distributions, confidence intervals and hypothesis tests, and simple linear regression. Familiarizes students with statistical packages for data analysis. Special Note: Students may apply no more than 3 credits from BA A273 or STAT A200 toward graduation requirements for a baccalaureate degree.
