Students explore and practice reading children's literature in Yup'ik. Students are exposed to a variety of genres (fiction, nonfiction, traditional stories, poetry, songs, etc.). Reader leveling will be discussed. Students are required to write targeted readers for specific reading levels in Yup'ik. Kuskokwim campus only. Prerequisites: YUP F208 or equivalent reading and writing skills. Offered As Demand Warrants
