This course is designed for students who have little to no experience in dog mushing and are interested in learning the basics of dog sledding in Alaska. Topics to be covered include: Techniques for operating a sled dog kennel; Introduction to sled dog management and maintenance; Hands-On Instruction on how to hook up and drive a team of 3 to 4 sled dogs; and offers an extended mushing experience. Must be enrolled with the Black Spruce Dog Sledding. Offered As Demand Warrants
