3 credits (3+0) Survey of basic market research available pertaining to travel and tourism on the national, statewide and regional levels. Course design provides students with basic research knowledge and examines the types of research conducted by various tourism related agencies. Special emphasis is placed on understanding and interpreting research results and how these results can be applied to a marketing situation. An elective course for Visitor Industry Program students.
