Emphasizes the culture and politics of the Cold War, the civil Rights struggle, the Vietnam War, the Women's movement, the New left and New Right, shifting patterns of immigration, globalization of the US economy and culture, and the war on terrorism. Prerequisite: WRTG S111, six credits of history, and upper division standing; or instructor permission.
