3 credits (2+3) Provides an overview of the engineering profession and the fundamental tools for practicing engineering. Presents the basic skills required of engineers including an introduction to analytical problem solving and the design process, descriptive geometry and presentation of engineering calculations, engineering mechanics, electrical circuits, thermodynamics, and data analysis through graphing. Prerequisite: MATH 152 (C or higher) or placement into MATH S251.
