3 credits (3+0) Explores traditional and contemporary Native American literature in North America. May include traditional oral forms, novels, short stories, film and poetry. Literary texts will be discussed in relation to cultural contexts and interpretations as well as readings in contemporary critical theory. Prerequisite: WRTG S211 or WRTG S212 (C 2.00 or better) or instructor permission.
