1 credit (1+0) Studies history, philosophy, and procedures for dyeing with plants and other naturally found dyestuffs. Students learn how to use mordants, collect dye materials, extract the dye, dye wool and other fibers, and keep accurate records of their experiments. Both native and exotic dyestuffs are included.
