3 credits (1+0+8) Structured study of an Alaska Native language. Student works intensively with a mentor fluent in the target language. Selection of mentor requires instructor approval. Attend weekly class with instructor and meet regularly with mentor for a minimum of 7 hours per week. Course may be repeated for a total of 12 credits. Prerequisite: Instructor permission.
