3 credits (3+0) Examines language and cultural concepts within Tlinigt oral literature. Class will be conducted primarily in Tlingit, and covers published and unpublished oratory to expose students to how the Tlingit language functions in the realms of oral history, storytelling, and ceremonial speeches. Prerequisite: AKL S206 or instructor permission.
