Rural development is both an academic discipline and a professional practice. This course is intended to expose students to key principles and practices of their chosen field. Students are empowered to explore their own definition of rural development, including defining the purpose and objective of development and what role(s) that they aspire to as part of the next generation of rural development leaders.
