The advanced topics modules provide expanded exposure to modern subjects in physics. Three topics are offered each semester, providing breadth beyond the core subjects of the physics undergraduate curriculum. This course will present most current material from one particular topic in physics, to be determined at the time of the offering. Students are expected to have familiarity with the core subjects in the field (classical mechanics, electromagnetism, statistical physics, quantum mechanics.) Prerequisites: PHYS F220; PHYS F301.
