This foundational course introduces types of computer networks and the components that make them work. Teaches knowledge and skills needed to install, configure and troubleshoot basic networking hardware, protocols and and topologies, protocols and standards, network services. Develop technical ability in the areas of media, topologies, protocols and standards, network implementation, and basic network administration. This serves as a gateway course to all CITS courses. May be taken concurrently with CITS F203. Offered As Demand Warrants
