Topics include: chemistry of amino acids and its implication, protein structure-function, enzyme catalysis, glucose and glycogen metabolism and regulation, bioenergetics, lipid metabolism and biomembranes, amino acid metabolism and regulation of metabolism. Biomedical relevance and contemporary techniques will be addressed if appropriate. Prerequisites: CHEM F321. Recommended: CHEM F331. Offered Spring
