Consistent fundamentals and technical knowledge base needed for the wildland fire origin and cause determination investigator (INVF). The concepts taught will include recognizing and conducting origin and cause determination, preservation of evidence and documentation, which will aid an investigator to perform at a professional level on a national basis. This course is based on a National Wildlife Coordinating Group (NWCG) course: FI-210 Wildland Fire Origin and Cause Determination. Prerequisites: FIRE F151; FIRE F155 and FIRE F252.
