This course is intended for talented students to explore geology or geophysics more deeply through research under the mentorship of a faculty member in the department. Prerequisites: Geology and Geophysics major with senior standing and a GPA of 3.2 or higher, completion of a minimum of 2 credits of GEOS F488 on a project approved by faculty mentor and department chair, and submission of a proposal approved by faculty mentor and department chair.
