An introduction to the functioning and management of the firm in international markets. An emphasis is on the multinational firm but increasing globalization makes international finance of concern to virtually every business operation. Coverage includes the international financial environment, and the measurement and management of risk exposure, particularly foreign exchange exposure, arising during international operations and trade. In addition, financing and investing decisions are considered in the international context. Prerequisite: FIN 304.
