Prereqs: ACCT 210, ACCT 220, CMPS 214 CourseObjectives Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: (1) Compare and contrast the relationship between financial accounting and cost accounting.. (2) Define and account for the basic elements of manufacturing cost systems. (3) Analyze costs in various Cost systems that include job order, process and standard cost systems. (4) Apply cost accounting methodologies to service businesses. (5) Prepare and analyze budgets related to cost accounting reports.
