The focus of this course includes, but is not limited to a vendor-neutral view of the knowledge necessary to design, install and support the modern networking systems. This course builds the student’s knowledge of network media, topologies, protocols and standards, as well as network implementation methods and support skills. This course also covers topics such as safety, environmental issues and professionalism. Knowledge gained in this course will help prepare students for the CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+ Essentials.
