This course is designed to incorporate aspects of the Elementary I practical life program with a full study into the role of practical life for Elementary II (9-12 years) in the Montessori classroom. Specifically, the course will cover similarities and differences in the practical life curriculum between the two age groups, the benefits of hard work in social and academic life, and the utility of skills that can be developed in the classroom that are not seen as traditionally academic. There are no prerequisites.
