This course is designed to prepare students for certification of Uninhabited Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operator training and includes the essential topics of safety/liability considerations, operational risk management, GPS and navigational topics, preflight operations, manual and automatic flight, and emergency procedures and equipment malfunctions. Each of these topics include first-hand investigation via extensive equipment use, research, and inquiry.
