This course examines waterfowl evolutionary ecology, annual ecology of North American waterfowl, habitat selection, poplulation ecology and management, waterfowl and plant indentification, waterfowl harvest management, waterfowl diseases, and exposure to waterfowl and wetlands in North America. Current waterfowl and wetland issues are discussed, and contemporary and classic literature are critically reviewed. Students are expected to have completed college coursework in ecology before enrolling in this course.
