In this course, students learn to improve literacy coaching through action research. Participants identify an issue or problem related to literacy instruction, propose a research plan, collect and analyze data, and interpret and present the results in written and oral formats. Through their own teacherresearch, participants are able to influence classroom practice and improve the literacy instruction in schools.
