Description:
Students will examine leadership methods, strategies and tools for ensuring effective technology and communications strategies in schools and in the school community. The National Educational Technology Standards for Administratiors are a focus of this course. Students will explore and practice the use of technologies that are available to support today's adminstrator or principal. The course will provide comprehension examination of current issues related to the use of technology in education. Students will employ effective use of technology for communication throughout the course. The study will include practice with web-based tools such as Web CT, Web Pages, PowerPoint and the use of the internet.
