This course draws a distinction between management and leadership and the impact of the difference on school productivity. Strategic planning, work group staffing and design, budgeting, decision making, control, conflict, and change processes will all be studied. Design responses to organizational paradoxes, dilemmas, and crises will be examined. Case studies, role playing, and simulations will support these studies.
