This course provides a foundation for understanding the curriculum, instruction, assessment, and staff development issues that face today's school administrator. The requisite knowledge base, skills and dispositions as well as the expectations and competencies of successful school administrators are examined. This course focuses on the responsibility of the school administrator for ensuring and supporting high quality teaching and learning for all students and adults.
