This online course is designed as an exploration into the uses of technology in education. The purpose of this course is to enable teachers to develop the skills needed to integrate technology into the classroom environment and to use project-based learning in an integrated school curriculum. Topics covered include: use of application software; integration of software and the Internet throughout the curriculum; utilizing the Internet as a link to the "global classroom" and legal implications of social networks and internet use. As each topic is presented, students will be required to apply them to their own classroom experiences.
