This course provides students who have a limited background in education theory or teaching experience with an understanding of the complex dynamics that affect contemporary education. A strong emphasis on reflection, classroom observation and a review of literature regarding current school practice provides the content of this course. Students are also introduced to the resources necessary for a more informed entrance into and deeper understanding of their future profession. EDG 515 is required for all students who do not have an education background. Credits do not apply toward degree requirements. Generally offered every semester
