This is an introduction to educational programming for people with special needs. Lectures, dicussions, media and site visits are used as means for investigating this topic. The law, history and current practices are emphasized. Students are introduced to library research techniques and prepare a major paper using American Psychological Association rules for publication. This course should be taken by students who have little or no course-work in speical education but seek SPE certification and a graduate degree.
