Innovations in molecular modeling and bioinformatics are introduced covering topics in microbial gene identification, challenges of the human genome project and algorithms used in molecular genetics. Students are trained how to use the main databases and methods for the strorage, searching and analysis of biological molecules. 1.5 credits Prequesite: Enrolled in Graduate Certificate in Biotechnology program or permission of department chair.
