Description:
Studies factors that govern the image production and image quality analysis process. Included are the importance of optimal imaging standards and problem-solving techniques. Digital imaging components, principles and operation are discussed. Film imaging with related accessories is introduced. In lab, radiographic imaging procedures and the resultant image evaluation criteria of the pelvis and digestive system are emphasized. Simulated lab experiences are planned to provide the student opportunities to apply principles and skills learned.
