Patient communication, human growth and development, and death and dying are presented. Effective methods of interacting with patients who have special needs are discussed. In lab, radiographic imaging procedures and the resultant image evaluation criteria of the upper and lower extremities are emphasized. Simulated lab experiences are planned to provide the student opportunities to apply principles and skills learned.
