This course focuses on health and illness across the lifespan. The Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) concepts of patient-centered care, evidence- based practice, teamwork and collaboration, quality improvement, safety and informatics will be applied to the adult and maternal/child populations. College and clinical laboratory experiences are planned to provide opportunities for the student to integrate these concepts while providing care in a variety of healthcare and community settings.
