Description:
Addresses the current issues that challenge the entry-level diagnostic medical sonographer. Deals with issues of professional communication and registry eligibility. Analytical skills of the differential diagnosis will continue to be emphasized. Ethical and medical-legal dilemmas of new and future sonographic techniques will be covered. Issues and concerns facing the graduate along with resume and interview skills will be discussed. Guest lecturers covering various topics will be scheduled to enhance learning objectives. Co-requisites: DMS 208 or DMS 209, and DMS 211 Prerequisites: DMS 204 or DMS 205, and DMS 206, and DMS 207 all with a "C" or better
