This is an introductory course in general chemistry and principles of chemistry. Emphasis is placed on mathematical solutions and laboratory techniques. Biomedical chemistry concepts, simple stoichiometry, determining and balancing equations, and pH calculations will be stressed. Intended for students with no chemistry background or those in need of review. (Credits earned for this course cannot be used toward graduation requirements.)
