This is the third course in the four-part practice sequence. This course prepares students for advanced generalist social work practice with an emphasis on planning, intervention and evaluation with individuals, families, and treatment groups. Underpinnings for the course include, but are not limited to, clients environments, and diversity. A primary focus is the application of social work knowledge through increased development of advanced skills. The overall goal of the course is integration and application of the problem-solving planned change process that undergirds the generalist perspective for social work practice.
