Assessment of Alcohol and Drug Addiction is a one semester course, which provides an in depth overview of assessment as it relates to alcohol and drug additions. Specific emphasis will be placed on how to conduct biopsychosocial assessments, use screenng tools and give diagnostic impressions of substance related disorders. Also, the course will teach how to write relevant and ethical clinical documentation of assessments. This course provides 45 educational hours toward CADC certification or recertification.
