More and more businesses around the world are adopting ERP Systems, it becomes increasingly important to understand a process centric approach integrated with ERP systems. Understanding, learning, and reviewing the integration of business processes, their execution and management, with leading ERP system is the main focus of this course. The course is intended to provide students with the knowledge and understanding of business processes, cross functional integration of processes, end to end processes, and process integration through the use of ERP systems. The key business processes covered include procurement (materials management), fulfillment (sales), and production (manufacturing). The class meet in a computer in a computer lab. and provides hands-on experience with these business processes through SAP's ERP solution. Using the system's core modules(MM, SD, PP, FI, CO, IM,WM), students will gain insight into online transcription processing (OLTP) with enterprise systems. A detailed case study with supporting data and structed in-class exercises will provide students with experiential learning and reinforce the conceptual content of the course.
