Food analysis is a general introduction to topics and techniques that are used in the analysis of food. Through this course, students will appreciate the principles behaind analytical techniques used in food analysis, and learn to use these techniques under labortory settings. This course also introduces students to United States government regulations and international standards related to food analysis. Prerequiste: HMEC 250, CHEM 101 and CHEM 102. Credit, three hours.
