The course focuses on the imaginative literature by black writers. The course which includes a wide range of styles, techniques, and themes will be presented in three (3) main genres: stories, plays, and poems. To encourage concentrated study, critical essays by noted black critics are studied in depth.Prerequisites: ENGL 101, ENGL 102.Credit, three hours.
