Dissertation: IRB Prep & Developing Prospectus; Project Study: Identifying the Problem; Case Study: Selecting the Problem: This course provides candidates in the doctoral program of Educational Leadership with advisement and support while carrying out their doctoral research study. Doctoral candidates are required to address one or more ELCC/NELP standards through their choice of doctoral research. This course provides assistance with completing and presenting the prospectus. The overarching objective of this course is for students to demonstrate readiness to conduct doctoral research. EDUC 820 is designed as the culminating experience of the first-year experience of the Ed. D. leadership program. 3 credit hours
