This course draws focuses on the identification of issues inart education at various curriculur levels; examinationof related research with possible implications for practiceand for purposes of study and discussion. Emphasis will beupon a selection of readings of the past two decades thatdeepens knowledge and insight into issues currentlyconfronting the field. Emphasis will be upon independentinquiry, individual presentations of subject matter, andgroup discussions related to assigned readings and theselected readings of particpants.
