Participants of this workshop will produce site-specific works through the exploration of alternative sculptural methods and media. The course is designed to encourage the participants to find the best materials and means of personal expression through an informed study of media and the sculpture process. Media may include (but are not limited to) clay, stone, water, botanicals, air, and ground formations. Paint, prints, photos, Xerox, computer, wood, fabric, glass, wax, and found objects may also be used. This course will be held in a working artist studio on five acres with woods, stream, and open meadow space. Recommended for art educators.
