State certified school counselors and district school counseling teams (including supervisors) are welcome to attend this consortium which will focus on the American School Counselor Association National Model and Standards. What are the essential questions regarding your role? How can the standards and model help you and your students? What is your contribution to school reform, especially in the area of closing the achievement gap, as prescribed by NCLB legislation? How are students measurably different due to the School Counseling Program (SCP)? Are you supervised according to counselor performance standards by a certified school counselor supervisor? How do you use data to measure student growth? Join colleagues in a professional learning community to dialogue and participate in experiential activities designed to answer the above questions and many more.
